The ALJ Group is hosting an event focusing on decarbonisation in the shipping industry. The event will explore innovative technical solutions and new approaches to reduce emissions. The decarbonisation agenda is ambitious, requiring new approaches to reduce emissions in daily ship operations and long-term solutions. The event also encourages fresh talent and collaborative corporate efforts led by top management. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia funds the IMO CARES (Coordinated Actions to Reduce Emissions from Shipping) project, which focuses on the needs of developing nations to meet the IMO GHG Strategy and Energy Efficiency targets and thereby contribute to the global reduction of GHG emissions.
